Free NHS Lung Cancer Screening is being offered to people registered with us. If you are aged 55 to 74 years old and are a smoker or have smoked in the past, you are eligible for this new service.
You do not need to do anything; the Lung Cancer Screening team will be contacting eligible people over the next few months. If you are eligible, you will receive an invitation to a telephone appointment. At that appointment, you will be asked some questions about your general health, your family history, and your lung health. Some people will be invited to a face-to-face appointment after the initial telephone appointment.
