We have had a large increase in the number of people requesting repeat medication over the phone.
We would like to remind everyone that there are several ways to do this online, via an internet browser using SystmOnline or on an app using a smartphone (Airmid or the NHS app).
We ask that anyone who is able to request their medication online uses one of these methods, rather than calling us on the phone. The reason for this is safety – a written request that can be sent straight to our dispensary team reduces the opportunity for mistakes or misunderstandings. It also frees up our phone lines for patients who need to talk to our team!
If you are new to online ordering and would like to learn how, staff at the surgery would be happy to help you get started.
We appreciate that some patients cannot order online or call at the surgery in person and we are of course happy to help you over the phone if this is the case.
We pride ourselves on answering your telephone calls quickly and we know from the GP Survey, that you appreciate this too. Please help us to maintain our high standards, by ordering online whenever possible.
