The Radiology Department has seen an increase in patients attending without a booked appointment and/or outside of the appropriate opening times.
This often means that patients are disappointed when asked to come back, as there is no capacity to fit them in. Obviously our team does their best to be helpful, but this is often not possible.
The hospital has for some time now, not offered a walk-in service. Referred patients will be contacted with an appointment time, other than chest X-Ray as detailed below.

9.00am – 4.40pm – Appointment Only (Letter will be sent)
Tuesday
9.00am – 5pm – Appointment Only (Letter will be sent)
5.00pm – 7.30pm – Walk-in Chest X-Ray only
Wednesday
9.00am – 4.40pm – Appointment Only (Letter will be sent)
Thursday
9.00am – 5pm – Appointment Only (Letter will be sent)
5.00pm – 7.30pm – Walk-in Chest X-ray only
Friday
9.00am – 4.40pm – Appointment Only (Letter will be sent)
