We are a rural dispensing surgery providing care for around 2,500 patients in Hindon and the surrounding villages.
Our team
We have three GPs on our team, two practice nurses, a phlebotomist and an admin and dispensing team of seven. We have recently added a care coordinator and a health and wellbeing coach to the team.
We also work closely with our community nursing team, care coordinator, community psychiatric nurses, palliative care team, midwives, health visitors, physiotherapists, primary care psychological service (IAPT) and local GP surgeries.
Local hospitals
We have good links with the local hospitals in Salisbury.
Quality of care
We aim to provide you with care that is high quality, easily accessible and with continuity (seeing the same person). We are continually reviewing what we are doing to always give you the best possible care.
We offer same day access to a GP, irrespective of the medical urgency, with telephone and face to face consultations including the ‘never full’ surgery at the end of each morning and evening surgery.
We have two practice nurses and a paramedic who provide nursing care every day in morning and afternoon clinics. We also dispense medicines to most patients.
